Healthy plant-based breakfast porridge in under 10 minutes. Quick, easy, and filling.
3/4 C instant oatmeal
1/2 C frozen blackberries
1/2 C frozen cherries
1 C boiling hot water
1 tsp cinnamon
1 T ground flax
1 T blackstrap molasses
1/4 C nuts of choice (I used hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, and macadamia nuts)
Place dry oatmeal in a heat-safe bowl (i.e. not plastic).
Pour water over the oats. Stir. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients. Stir together and enjoy!
