Crispy Baked Tofu

The best crispy tofu recipe to go with any meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu, drained and pressed for 15-20 minutes to remove excess liquid.

  • 3 T cornmeal (can substitute for corn starch or any flour)

  • 1 T garlic powder

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Cut pressed tofu into 1/2 inch cubes.

  3. In a small shallow bowl or plate, combine the cornmeal and garlic powder.

  4. Gently roll tofu in the garlic cornmeal mixture. Completely each side in cornmeal.

  5. Place tofu on a parchment paper- or reusable silicon mat-lined baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes.

  7. Serve warm. Enjoy!
